Conversing with Hadrian’s Aqueduct

Conversing with Hadrian’s Aqueduct

Eirini ISAP Station, Athens
21 █ October █ 2023
11 █ 00 - 14 █ 00

Do you know what passes under your feet?

Hadrian’s Aqueduct in Athens is a largely unknown, underground Roman monument that still transports water today! Beginning in the foothills of Mt. Parnitha and the Olympic Village, the aqueduct “invisibly” traverses eight demes of Attica, culminating in the Plateia Dexamenis in Kolonaki.

We invite you to a playful tour at the origin of the aqueduct (Olympic Village-Kifissos-OAKA) in which we will learn about the monument, we will contemplate the environment sustainability of our city, and… we will have fun!

The event is appropriate for adults and children nine and older.

In collaboration with OhiPezoume/UrbanDigProject and the Institute for Ideas and Imagination
